Personally, my training is routed in classical music, with my pre-degree qualifications being with ABRSM and my degree being BA Music.

In addition to this, I have a great deal and range of performance experience, with some personal favourites being musical theatre concerts, jazz bands and ensembles, operas, large scale and chamber choirs, and being lead singer of several rock and pop bands.

I began teaching my first few students 7 years ago, then in 2020, following the completion of my Music degree, I set up EMSP and became a full time private vocal coach and piano teacher. Since then I have had the pleasure of coaching a huge number of students, accumulating thousands of teaching hours coaching 1:1 sessions. At the moment, I have over 50 amazing students taking weekly classes! With them, I cover a vast range of styles, abilities and experience levels and am genuinely passionate about putting together lesson plans that suit each individual and allow them to thrive on their instrument.

For some, I have offered lessons to help pursue their hobby, and for others their lessons have been part of their successful audition 
training for Music and Musical Theatre degrees, whereas some students are looking for support for their GCSE/A Level music, or for great marks in their ABRSM graded exams.
